Triangles $ABC$ , $ADE$ , and $EFG$ are all equilateral. Points $D$ and $G$ are midpoints of $\overline{AC}$ and $\overline{AE}$ , respectively. If $AB = 4$ , what is the perimeter of figure $ABCDEFG$ ?
